How many times have you been riding along a beautiful trail, enjoying the view, and suddenly been smacked right in the face by a swarm of bugs? 😝 Yep, same here. That's why I made up a lightweight, single-layer, fitted mask to block those little buggers. I also found that the mask helps reduce irritation from breathing in the cooler evening air.
Environment-friendly, reusable and washable masks are made with prewashed cotton fabrics and shaped to fit comfortably over the nose and chin. Each mask has a flexible nose wire to ensure comfortable fit for long wear (and to help keep glasses from fogging up).
The ear bands are made of soft, stretchy nylon spandex (not from hair bands) that are very comfortable on the back of the ears. 1/8" elastic is also available.
Instructions on mask care and how to adjust the length of the ear loops is included in the packaging.
To ensure that your new mask will fit comfortably, measure from the bridge of your nose to under your chin and then measure across the mouth from ear to ear. The Small/Medium (S/M) mask measures 5x9; Large is 6x9 inches; XL is 7x10. The XS mask measures 4.25x8. If you need a custom size, no problem - just add a note to your order to specify the dimensions.
I make each mask to order in a smoke- and pet-free home. Masks are sanitized and vacuum sealed for shipping.

Care instructions
Handmade jewelry may be fragile so handle with care when wearing or cleaning. My designs are lead and nickel free plated metals but they will tarnish over time. Give your jewelry some TLC with a treated jewelry wipe and a soft towel to keep it looking like new. Jewelry should not be worn when swimming but if you do, just carefully rinse it in a few drops of mild soap and rinse with fresh water. Gently dry with a soft cloth.
